The tank consists of a polymer liner and a composite structural coating. The decrease in permeability and interaction of the liner with hydrogen is studied by means of polymer modifications and additivation. RTM (resin transfer moulding) technology is used for the structural coating, which is not very common in the market today, with most options being manufactured by filament winding.
