Los contaminantes org\u00e1nicos de estas aguas residuales pueden ser degradados en tratamientos de electrooxidaci\u00f3n y fotoelectrooxidaci\u00f3n que permiten reutilizar el efluente y que generan hidr\u00f3geno como subproducto. Teniendo en cuenta que esta industria tambi\u00e9n necesita agua caliente para la producci\u00f3n de tejidos, la tecnolog\u00eda propuesta busca optimizar el consumo energ\u00e9tico de la empresa impulsando la electr\u00f3lisis y\/o la fotoelectr\u00f3lisis del agua residual de procesos como el mercerizado, la tintura o la estampaci\u00f3n para aprovechar su producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno (que actualmente se tira al exterior) para utilizarla ya sea como combustible,\u00a0 haciendo un \u00abblending\u00bb con el gas natural, o almacenando el hidr\u00f3geno para posteriores
