The second Demo Day organised by the H2CAT network on October 23 at the Centre for Technology Transfer and Innovation of the Rovira i Virgili University brought together more than 20 companies and institutions of the sector that could discover first-hand the main technological innovations in the field of hydrogen use as an energy source and as a feedstock.
The day consisted of a first part in which representatives of the network’s member entities presented a compilation of their technologies and services in this field. In a second part, a demonstration space was set up in the faculty lobby to show some of these technologies in operation in prototype format.
The event ended with a guided tour of the specialist hydrogen laboratories of the Rovira i Virgili University.
This activity has enabled the attending companies to learn first-hand about the technologies and services available at universities and research centres, as well as the researchers who are working on these innovative projects. A way to bring the scientific world closer to industry.
The H2CAT network plans to organise several Demo Days specialising in the different areas of work of the network throughout the project.
This programme is funded with the support of the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants and the Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
