Porous Organic Materials with Adaptable Electronic Properties for Green Hydrogen Generation via Electro- and/or Photocatalysis

The developed materials have been designed for optimal transformation of solar energy and water into hydrogen, maximizing the range of absorbed light and accelerating charge transfer processes and the involved chemical reactions. The materials are mainly composed of abundant elements and are characterized by high porosity, providing a large active catalyst surface area that maximizes process efficiency.

- Efficiency in photocatalytic hydrogen production from water.
- Reduction of critical/scarce materials in photocatalytic hydrogen generation reactors and/or water electrolyzers.
